How to create builds
Add equipment loadouts to your guild or community library.
Guild builds (ZvZ)
Officers create and edit guild-scoped builds in the Build workshop under Builds in the ZVZ loadouts group.
- Open Builds (
/g/{slug}/builds). - Click New build (opens the workshop with a blank row), Edit builds (opens the workshop on your library), or Edit on an existing build.
- Use the left list to switch builds without leaving the page. Status marks mean:
- ✓ Up to date (saved)
- + New, not saved yet
- * Modified since last save
- − Pending delete (not removed until you save)
- Enter Name and Playstyle (Caller, DTank, Support, etc.).
- Fill each equipment slot using the item picker (main hand, off-hand, armor, cape, mount, food, potion). For gear, food, and potion, you can add up to five swap items per slot from the item details panel: use Add swap for each extra variant.
- Set tier, enchant, and abilities per slot (primary gear and each swap row).
- Add a Description: what the player should do in this role.
- Optionally set tags.
- Click Save all to create, update, and confirm deletes in one pass. New builds need a title before they will save.
When players view a build, the primary gear stays as before; swap gear shows ability choices in a compact matrix, and food/potion swaps appear as extra icons beside the main item.
The workshop loads a working set (about the first page of your library, or a specific set via Edit). It does not open every guild build at once.
Community builds
Members and officers can add community builds:
- Open Builds under the Community loadouts group (
/g/{slug}/community/builds). - Click New build to open the community workshop and follow the same steps.
- You can edit or delete builds you created; officers can manage any community build.
- Community builds appear in community compositions and Content events only.
Staged delete vs list delete
- In the workshop, Delete marks a saved build with −. Use Undo delete to restore it, or Save all to remove it for good.
- On the builds list, delete still removes a build immediately (with confirm). Prefer the workshop when you want to review several deletes before committing.
Duplicate
In the workshop header, Duplicate copies the current build into a new unsaved row (title gets “New” appended) so you can save a variant with Save all.
