Join Guild
Join via Discord /register or a website invite link.
Discord
Members: join with /register
-
Be in your guild's Discord server (the bot must be installed).
-
Run
/registerin a channel where the bot can respond. -
Click Open onboarding in the bot's reply.
-
On the website (
/join/{guildId}from the bot link), sign in with Continue with Discord (the same Discord account you used in the server). -
After Discord sign-in:
- If Discord role sync, website auto-remove, or any approved in-game guild / alliance is configured, link your Albion character on the guild's server. The page checks the allowlist (primary roster, then approved guild rosters, then approved alliance) and joins you when a character matches (live countdown, refreshes every 2 minutes if the game API is slow). While you wait, you see each linked character's name and current in-game guild from the Albion API.
- If none of those are enabled, you get an optional Link your in-game character step — link a character or click Skip, then join when your Discord roles pass the member-tier check on Integrations.
After you join, your linked Albion character name is shown on the Members page, event signups, and other guild views when available; otherwise your Discord server nickname is used, or your Discord display name / username if you have no server nickname.
-
Optionally set auto-signup builds, then open your guild dashboard.
If you linked the wrong character, use Add or change character on the waiting step to search another region or player.
Use this when you already use Discord and have not opened a website invite link.
Officers: enable Discord registration
- Open Administration → Integrations (
/g/{slug}/integrations). - Add the bot to your Discord server and link it to this guild.
- Configure command access for the roles that should run staff tools.
- Tell new members to run
/registerafter they join the server, or post the welcome card with/ping-onboardingin your onboarding channel (optionalrole:to mention a role).
The onboarding wizard (/onboarding/{slug}?step=register) also points here during guild setup.
Website invite link
Officers: create and share an invite
- Open Administration → Invite (
/g/{slug}/invite). - Copy the invite URL, or rotate it if you need a fresh link.
- Optional: set expires at or max uses on the invite page.
- Send the link to players (Discord DM, pin, etc.).
Members: accept an invite
- Open the invite URL an officer sent you (
/invite/{token}). - Log in with Discord if prompted.
- Review the guild name on the confirmation page.
- Click Join guild.
- You land on the guild dashboard (
/g/{your-guild-slug}).
You cannot browse or join random guilds without an invite. Ask an officer for a link or use /register on Discord.
After someone is on the roster
- Officers: check Members (
/g/{slug}/members) for roles and roster status. - Members: use the header guild switcher if you belong to multiple guilds.
- For event signups without full membership, guests can use a display name on public event links — see Signing up for events.
